Car shampoos and alloy wheel shampoos are some of the most important detailing and valeting products out there. Shampoos by definition are made up of a blend of cleaning agents, lubricants and special Surface Active Agents (surfactants), and produce a solution of suds that not only helps to break down a lift grime, but to lubricate potentially harmful particles, allowing them to be rinsed safely off of surfaces.
These eradicate dirt and grime through both mechanical (agitation and wiping away with your wash mitt) and chemical action – due to their carefully designed molecular structure surfactants are designed to surround grime particles on a microscopic level, lifting and encapsulating them in the water, ready to be purged from surfaces during your rinse.
We offer stand-alone cleaning shampoos that can tackle serious soiling in this way, and in the case of Caramics Enhancing Shampoo we can even add (or top up) Si02 protection as you wash. Not only that but our car shampoos are pH neutral making them kind to surfaces and previously applied protection layers.
