Essen Motor Show 2019 - Essen Motor Show 2019

The Essen Motor Show, held in Messe, Germany, is Europe's leading tuning trade fair and it's easy to see why. The week-long event never fails to entertain with its high-level of unique motors. We just had to stop by for a look. Each year, around 500 exhibitors cover eight halls and more than 100,000m² of space with wonders that get the car fans swooning. In the Motorsport Arena is a live-action section featuring different displays daily. The big manufacturers are in attendance, the tuners are in attendance and the car-crazed masses flood through the doors in droves. There's also the Classic & Prestige Salon where a select number of cars are available to buy. Trends, new products and innovations of the automotive and motorcycle industry are also showcased during the week. There were a number of companies and manufacturers debuting their cars, but the most notable in our book has to be the legendary Hoonicorn V2 from race driver Ken Block. Presented for the first time in Europe at this year's Essen Motor Show, the awesome Hoonicorn V2 was the star of the Toyo Tyres stand. The mega four-wheel drive 1965 Ford Mustang boasts two huge Garret turbochargers that has taken the 6.7-litre Rousch Yates V8 engine from 850bhp to 1400bhp.
