Venga Takes Over Wembley

We've been to plenty of Vengameets over the years, but yesterday was a first. A brand-new venue. A brand-new backdrop. For the first time, Venga landed at Wembley Stadium Green Coach Park, and it didn't disappoint.

The thing we've always liked about these meets is that they just feel different. They're not trying to be the biggest event in the country or pack thousands of cars into one space. Instead, it's a carefully put together evening full of genuinely good builds, good people and the sort of atmosphere that reminds you why you got into cars in the first place. It feels relaxed.

People take their time walking around. Owners are happy to chat about their builds. Cameras are out, bonnets are up and everyone's there for exactly the same reason — to enjoy cars. That's something that's becoming harder and harder to find.

The standard of cars was exactly what we've come to expect from VENGA too. Every row had something worth stopping for, whether it was a spotless OEM+ daily, a perfectly executed stance build, something with serious power hiding under the bonnet or a classic that's clearly been loved for years. Nothing felt out of place.

The new Wembley location definitely helped with that too. Plenty of room for the cars, loads of space for people to move around and an awesome setting that gave the whole evening a fresh feel. Sometimes changing venues can take away from what made an event special, but this felt like a natural step forward.

For us, VENGA continues to be one of the best examples of what the UK car scene should be. No egos. No nonsense. Just enthusiasts bringing out cars they're proud of, catching up with friends and spending an evening surrounded by people who all share the same passion. That's exactly what we need more of.
