Can the Fine Finishing Compound be used as a single stage polish?

The Fine Finishing Compound can be used as a single stage polish, alongside our Pro Polishing Pad or Puck.

Do the Pro Compounds have to be used with the corresponding pads?

We do recommend using our Pro Compounds with the matching pads, however you can use the Medium Compound with the Heavy Pad, if you do not have a Heavy Compound on hand.

Why do I need to use masking tape when polishing?

Masking tape is essential for protecting sensitive areas like rubber window seals, plastic trim, and badges from being stained or damaged by polish. It also prevents "burn-through" on sharp body lines and edges where the paint is naturally thinner

How do I clean my polishing pads?

To care for your pads and applicators correctly, follow these simple steps:1. Soak the pads and applicators in warm soapy water (non-bio liquid detergent).2. Massage any excess product out of the pads/applicator with your thumbs.3. Rinse the pad/applicator thoroughly with warm clean water.4. Once thoroughly rinsed, wring out any excess water so they are just damp.5. Leave to air dry naturally in a cool dry place *DO NOT tumble dry*6. Finally, once completely dry, return to air tight storage ready for next use.
