Aqua Coat should only be applied to a wet vehicle after washing. Before you start: Ensure the vehicle is not in direct sun light and in ambient temperatures - do not attempt to apply Aqua Coat in hot weather, in direct sun or to a warm vehicle.
Ensure all traces of shampoo have been thoroughly rinsed.
Apply a light mist of Aqua Coat over a wet vehicle - be quick aqua coat will cover most surfaces whilst being rinsed from the car, usually a light mist across the majority of the vehicle will equate to the entire vehicle being coated when the solution is rinsed from the vehicle.
Rinse thoroughly from top down ensuring all trances of Aqua Coat have been rinsed away.
Dry with a microfibre towel straight away.
DO NOT allow Aqua Coat to dry on the vehicle (Aqua Coat does not require curing time). DO NOT apply to a hot car or in direct sunlight. DO NOT over apply (less is more).
SHOULD SPOTTING OR STREAKING OCCOUR. Immediate response is the best course of action. In the first instance: Simply spray Aqua Coat on to a microfibre towel and buff (using in a similar fashion to quick detailers) . If spotting is noticed later: A polish such as our Tripple all in one will be adequate to resolving the issue.
I have white marks on my vehicle after using Aqua Coat, what do I do?
Unfortunately Aqua Coat can have this effect if its not used correctly, but when used correctly you'll love it! 1. Wash the car as you would normally with shampoo and rinse well. 2. While the car is still dripping wet, lightly sprits the car with the Aqua Coat(a little goes along way). 3. Almost immediately, thoroughly rinse the car with the jet wash. The light dots/specks that can be left behind by the Aqua Coat can be caused by one of two things... either the Aqua Coat was used too generously and not rinsed quick enough before it dried OR the Temperature of the car/air was too warm/cold and what was applied dried before you even had a chance to rinse it. If you do get the marks once the car is dried then you will need to try applying a little Aqua Coat to a clean fresh microfibre cloth and wipe the panels down to re-activate the product. Alternatively you can use a quick detailer to do the same job, something like Finale is perfect!
At what stage in my detail should I use Aqua Coat?
We recommend using Aqua Coat on your maintenance washes. We suggest doing a full wash, decontamination and polish, followed by either a wax or ceramic coating. The next time you come to wash your vehicle, wash as normal and then apply your Aqua Coat, rinse, dry and you're good to go! The Aqua Coat will act as a top up to the protection you have already applied.
Can I polish my vehicle after I apply Aqua Coat?
Any polish or product that contains abrasives in will remove Aqua Coat from your vehicle.
