Ceramic Coatings
Our Caramics range of ceramic coatings, is specifically designed to make the processes involved in applying ceramic coatings for cars simpler than ever.
Ceramic coatings are based on Silica (Si02- Silicon Dioxide) which chemically bonds to surfaces to create a shiny, glass-like layer that's impervious to moisture. On a molecular level it simply smooths out microscopic recesses in the top layer of the surface, leaving a hydrophobic barrier layer that's completely smooth and gives water and dirt molecules nothing to cling on to. Because of these properties, water will simply bead off of the surface and grime won't be able to stick. Instead it will either slide off, or sit on top, making the vehicle far easier to clean away on the next maintenance wash. In this way a ceramic coating is capable of keeping any vehicle looking better for longer, making it ideal for winter protection, for new cars and for daily drivers.
Our selection of Caramics Protection kits cover every surface from paintwork and glass, to interiors and wheels offering exactly these easy-clean properties and hard-barrier protection, but have been developed with easy application in mind - unlike traditional ceramic coatings – Caramics kits require no professional training to apply and offer durability for up to 12-months.
We also stock a range of Caramics support products, including Caramics Gloss Enhancer, Caramics Glass Cleaner and Caramics Enhancing Shampoo. Perfect for use on every maintenance wash, these next generation SiO2-infused products are capable of installing a good degree of ceramic protection on their own, but they also act as the perfect interim top up to extend the life and performance of our Caramics coatings.
Our four flagship Caramics Protection Kits are available together in our Caramics Complete Protection Kit, or as individual kits:
Caramics Paintwork Protection Kit: This kit has been developed to install a hardy ceramic coating on all painted or lacquered surfaces, as well as carbon fibre, plastic headlights and gloss plastic trim. This product can also be used on vinyl wraps. The coating is applied with easy-to-use, innovative Ceramic Resin Wipes, and also contains the necessary Prep Spray to ensure that the surface is chemically clean, free of dust and polishing residues and perfectly prepared to accept the coating. One Caramics Kit is enough to treat a large vehicle, including SUVs and pickups.
Caramics Glass Protection Kit: this kit offers the same hydrophobic, Si02 protection and water beading as our Paintwork Protection Kit, but for surfaces where long-lasting clarity and vision is the priority. Again, this product is designed to make the coating application process as straightforward as possible, and uses special wipes to transfer the coating to glass surfaces. After curing, the chemically bonded ceramic layer will see any water bead or run straight off of the surface.
Caramics Wheel Protection Kit: Suitable for all alloy wheel finishes, this particular kit employs a simple spray and wipe method. The coating is not only impermeable to water and grime, but highly resilient in the face of harmful contaminants like hot brake dust and road salt. Stopping grime from sticking makes your wheels easier to clean on subsequent routine maintenance washes.
Caramics Interior Protection Kit: Developed to bring the same level of protection associated with ceramic exterior coatings, to interior all textiles including fabrics, carpet and leather, the Caramics Interior Protection Kit offers simple application and an effective shield against grime, and engineered to repel stains and spills (including dye-transfer from clothing) and make interior maintenance easier for up to 12 months.
