No matter the surface, Citrus Power works in the same way to break down, lift and encapsulate heavy soiling with the potential to cause scratches and swirl marks. Citrus Power encapsulates these particles in the solution, allowing them to be rinsed away safely, without ever touching the surface. Citrus Power has been developed for contactless application, allowing it to break down, lift and encapsulate harmful particles on sensitive finishes like paintwork, gloss plastics and vinyl. This enables these contaminants to be removed safely without scratching or inflicting swirl marks, so we never recommend agitation on easily damaged exterior surfaces, especially on heavily soiled vehicles, simply to ensure the best possible swirl-free pre-wash. However for some tasks, such as degreasing engines, shuts or door jambs, or cleaning previously protected wheels or awkward grilles and recesses, Citrus power can be lightly agitated with a soft Detailing Brush for enhanced cleaning power. In these cases the agitation isn't to physically scrub away contaminants, but merely to refresh the solution on soil build-up, moving away spent solution (that's already encapsulating grime) and replenishing the area with fresh solution to work away on any remaining contamination.
