ObliTARate Tar & Glue Remover Solvent Based Tar & Adhesive Remover

Auto Finesse® ObliTARate tar and glue remover, is a solvent-based formula that quickly dissolves stubborn tar and glue residues and contamination on contact even before you touch your car. This minimises the possibility of marring and scratching paintwork, while extending the life of your detailing clay bar. Auto Finesse® ObliTARate can dissolve even the most extreme contaminates, like traffic cone rash from auto-crossings, gaffer or duct tape from temporary camera mountings, undercoating overspray and residues from factory protective wax coatings. ObliTARate is safe to use on all modern painted and powder-coated surfaces, as well as glass, solvent-resistant hard plastics, bare metal and bright work trim. However, it's a very strong solvent product and may cause damage to fresh paint, SMART repairs, un-catalysed lacquers and some delicate vintage finishes. If using the product on these surfaces, proceed with caution and test on an inconspicuous area beforehand. If no hazing or swelling of the finish is present, and no paint gets transferred to your applicator or microfibre towel, you can use ObliTARate with confidence. 

Application: 

Firstly, you'll need to ensure that the surface you're treating is clean and free from loose dirt and contamination. Then, apply ObliTARate to the affected area and leave to dissolve any present tar and glue residue. Once applied, working in small sections at a time, wipe off using a microfibre cloth. Repeat if necessary.

Please note: ObliTARate is NOT sold with a trigger and should NOT be used on headlights. We also do NOT advise putting cloths containing a solvent-based product into the washing machine.
