This 1970 Resto-Cal Volkswagen Beetle is a true head-turner, combining classic VW heritage with modern upgrades and authentic California-inspired styling. Andy purchased the car just over two years ago via eBay, where it immediately stood out thanks to its immaculate condition and attention to detail. The full restoration was completed by Liam Richardson from Essex, who undertook a ground-up rebuild. Every aspect of the car was restored with care, resulting in a beautifully finished classic Volkswagen Beetle that perfectly suits the Resto-Cal style.

Since owning the car, he's added his own custom upgrades to enhance both its appearance and usability while keeping the period-correct Resto-Cal look. Key modifications include: Jim Dandy–style roof rack - Swamp Cooler window-mounted air conditioning, combining style with function - Premium air suspension all round, allowing adjustable ride height for driving and shows - Custom Jack Daniel’s themed interior, fully bespoke and one of a kind - 13 LED show lights for maximum impact on the show field - Brand-new 5-spoke chrome alloy wheels, completing the stance and overall look

Over the past two years, the car has been entered into multiple UK car shows and Volkswagen events, where it has been extremely well received picked up trophies along the way
