There are car shows, and then there’s Players Classic. Held on the hallowed tarmac of Goodwood Motor Circuit, it’s the one weekend a year where heritage meets modern, and style meets speed. And for us at Auto Finesse, it’s always been more than just another date on the calendar. We’ve been here since day one, and for the third year running, we rolled in as headline sponsor, setting up our home base with the now-iconic Airstream pop-up shop glinting against the Goodwood green.
The Liberty Walk S15 – First UK Debut of the Pink Livery
There are cars that stop you in your tracks, and then there are cars that bend time. Our Liberty Walk S15, fresh from its SEMA debut, finally touched down on UK soil in full V1 Pink livery. Seeing it parked up against the timeless backdrop of Goodwood’s paddock felt surreal—a Japanese icon dressed in modern legend colours, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with historic machinery. A snapshot of how far the culture’s come, and where it’s heading.
Drift Cars at Goodwood
This year we brought the noise. Both the BMW E36 LTO (2JZ, 1160bhp, pure chaos) and the E36 M3 Evo hit the circuit for drift sessions, reminding everyone that sideways driving belongs in the heart of the culture just as much as lap times do. Not everything went smooth—that’s drifting—but that’s part of the story. Smoke, speed, setbacks, repeat. It’s raw, it’s imperfect, and it’s why we love it.
The Yaris GR – New School Meets Old School
Between the vintage grandstands and historic bends, our GR Yaris carved its own story. Modern rally DNA tearing through a circuit best known for classic metal—it was proof that the culture evolves, and that Players Classic isn’t just about stance and shine—it’s about driving, full stop.
The Atmosphere
Players Classic isn’t just a show—it’s a gathering. Every year, cars pour in from all over Europe, each one carrying a story, a style, a reason for being here. You walk the paddock and see the cross-pollination of cultures: Japanese builds next to British classics, stance cars lining up against track toys. It’s eclectic, it’s curated, but it’s also grassroots at its core. That’s why it works. And for us? It’s the people. Old friends, new faces, conversations sparked over polished arches or blown diffs. That’s the Players DNA—the reason we’ll always keep coming back.
