The New AF Liberty Walk GTR

Since joining the team, Benny’s detailing skills have improved slightly — but there was no saving the old wrap. Even by our standards, it was finished. This car represents the brand all over Germany, so leaving it as-is wasn’t an option.

Benny handed us the keys, zero questions asked, and let us cook.

We linked up once again with our friends at Black Fish to create something unmistakably AF, with a twist. Green and gold was the direction. While they worked their magic, we tackled the worst part of the job: removing what might genuinely be the worst wrap material we’ve ever come across.

It was brutal. We pulled in reinforcements from HQ — ten of us going at it, fingernails wrecked, fingertips cooked — but we got there.

Or so we thought.

Years of daily use had taken their toll. Underneath it all, the Liberty Walk kit needed serious repair work. With just two weeks until showtime, the guys at Identity Wraps stepped in and delivered once again. The car was wrapped and finished the day before we set off to unveil it at Essen Motor Show.

Worth every late night.
