Ultimate Dubs 2024

Ultimate Dubs is not only the official UK season opener but, much more importantly, it's also one of our all-time favourite events.

Taking over the huge Telford International Centre, and cramming it to the brim with nothing but the finest cars from all over Europe, what you'll find here on display is always the creme de la creme of top notch show metal. In fact, many of the cars you'll see here will be making their very first appearance, most after a whole load of work over winter.

And of course, we're always there supporting this massive event with a a couple of van loads of our detailing products and a fine selection of AF project Dubs of our very own. So, as you can imagine, we couldn't wait to get up to the Midlands to set up our stand for the first show of 2024 and, as this one has a rather special place in our hearts, we even decided to give everyone the ultimate preview of a whole host of our brand-new products before they'd even hit our online store.

We also brought along two of our Mk1 Caddy builds and our old skool VW Panel Van debuting an all-new look. In other words, there was no way the start to the 2024 season was ever going to disappoint...

As for all the other cars you get to see at UD? Well, as we already said, everything you'll find here is a bit on the special side. What started off as a VW show all those years ago has since evolved a little. So, while there's plenty of stunning Dubs still on the agenda, you'll also find other amazing builds from all over the German stable... not to mention a few surprises along the way.

Of course we can't show you every single car on display here, but here's just a few of our absolute favourites...

As you can see from our special selection, all the cars at UD are right up there with the very best the world has to offer. But, just this once, picking a car to hold high our Sponsor's Choice award was relatively straightforward. Simply because this build is on another level!

Apparently it took the owner over 10-years to put together this bonkers homage to the legendary AudiSport Quattro S1. And we've got to say that it shows. It's plain to see that this uber-quality project not comes with all the trimmings - amazing details like the BBS motorsport wheels, the iconic widebody, a full custom chassis and even a barking turbocharged Audi 5-pot lump - but the fit and finish is simply jaw-dropping, too.

In fact, with no expense spared along the way, this Pikes Peak ready monster is easily better finished than any of the original mid '80s rally weapons. We're certain that the motorsport legends that made this car famous - namely Stig Blomqvist, Water Rohrl and Michele Mouton - have never seen anything with an Audi badge finished quite on this level, either. A proper stunner and a well-deserved winner.
