Citrus Power has been developed for contactless application, allowing it to break down, lift and encapsulate harmful particles on sensitive finishes like paintwork, gloss plastics and vinyl. This enables these contaminants to be removed safely without scratching or inflicting swirl marks, so we never recommend agitation on easily damaged exterior surfaces, especially on heavily soiled vehicles, simply to ensure the best possible swirl-free pre-wash. However for some tasks, such as degreasing engines, shuts or door jambs, or cleaning previously protected wheels or awkward grilles and recesses, Citrus power can be lightly agitated with a soft Detailing Brush for enhanced cleaning power. In these cases the agitation isn't to physically scrub away contaminants, but merely to refresh the solution on soil build-up, moving away spent solution (that's already encapsulating grime) and replenishing the area with fresh solution to work away on any remaining contamination. Yes, Citrus Power may be a powerful pre-cleaner, but it's kind to all previously applied protection layers, making it the ideal pre-wash product for maintenance washes, as well as larger, more in-depth details. Citrus Power will not degrade waxes, ceramic coatings or paintwork sealants, in fact, when used regularly it actually helps to prolong the life and beauty of these products by helping to safely remove potentially harmful, corrosive contaminants that will degrade protection.
Contact washing with two buckets remains the most effective precautionary measure and involves having a bucket for your car shampoo solution and a separate bucket filled with plain water for rinsing your mitt in between passes. You can also add a third bucket for your wheels.
Lather Car Shampoo has been developed as a pH neutral cleaner so, while it is extremely powerful, it will not degrade or strip any protection layers, whether that happens to be a wax, a ceramic coating or a sealant. This is what makes Lather extremely effective on maintenance washes where you'd like to keep your protection layers intact, as well as larger details where you may be polishing and adding protection later.
Yes, Crystal Glass Cleaner is safe and effective on glass with a previously-applied ceramic coating, including the 12-month-durable coating in our Caramics Glass Protection Kit. Silica (Si02) based ceramic coatings chemically bond to surfaces on a molecular level to provide a durable layer of protection that can only be fully removed through abrasion. Crystal is a non-abrasive formula made up of a finely balanced blend of distilled solvents and, as such, it removes residues by dissolving them and allowing them to be easily wiped away without abrading surfaces or protection layers. While Crystal will not degrade your ceramic coating though, it will not strengthen it either. For this reason, whenever there's a ceramic coating present, for the best results we recommend utilising Caramics Glass Cleaner which has been specifically developed to boost coatings, prolonging their life and their performance. No. Satin features a non-slinging formula. Because it is absorbed into the rubber and dries to the touch, it stays on your tyres and won't be thrown onto your bodywork once you start driving.
Yes you are able to add a second layer of Graphene. We advise to wait 1 hour after the first application before applying the second layer.
