A more intimate course that allows you to learn the art of detailing on your own pride and joy. Together we will methodically go through each step of the detailing process starting with the wheels and engine, right through to paint correction and last stage protections. Leaving you with the confidence to detail your own car the right way.

Foundation course

The Foundation courses are aimed at weekend warriors who are relatively new to detailing.They cover a wide range of topics from the basics of detailing, so you are guaranteed to have the confidence to maintain and detail your own vehicle. You will gain an understanding of how to clean your engine through to the finishing touches and waxing your vehicle.

Our Team

Joe Huntley is one of our detailers, he has worked in and around Auto Finesse for over 6 years as well as being part of a prestigious car detailing team in Knightsbridge, London.

Ashley Moore is a professional detailer with over 12 years experience as well as running Vivid Car Care, which was based in Wales. His client base varied from your average car up to million pound supercars and much more.

Machine polishing course

The machine polishing courses are aimed at people who wish to learn more than the basics of car detailing. This course will help the participants to better understand the complete machine polishing process. From assessing paint substrates and defects to understanding what pads and polishes to use. This will then lead into using machine polishers and defect removal to leave a clean crisp finish to paint finishes ready for sealants and coatings.

Professional course

Our Professional training courses are aimed at those wishing to take the leap into the world of detailing as their chosen profession. These courses cover an array of both theory and hands on training, from correct prep procedure, complete paint correction and machine polisher training. This even includes business and industry insights from founder and MD of the Auto Finesse company - James Batty.
